WHY WE BELIEVE IN SUNDAY SCHOOL
Luke 2:52

- Because it is the best way devised for us from childhood to learn of the life and teachings of Jesus.
- Because many persons have committed their lives to teaching various age groups.... using the Bible-founded materials to give in-depth study of God's word
- Because it has given growing minds a sense of Christian fellowship. The radiance of Christian experience, and the blessing of Christian service that changed their lives.
- Because it helps the church to teach Christian Faith so that the experience of worship and work become more relevant, and understanding is clarified as to what the Christian Faith offers to the world.
- Because of its great history of service in the study of the Bible.
- Because it so persuasively opens to us the truths, power, and revelation of divine love through Jesus Christ.
- Because in it and through it we come to have a fellowship of so many Christian friends.
- Because it gives to us the opportunity to know the testimonies and the depths of the heart and mind of so many children, young people, and adults who are learning of the love of God, of His Word, and of the workings of the Holy Spirit.
- Because it gives us a searching glimpse of the church universal through history, ministering especially to the weary and heavy laden, the deprived, and oppressed, as well as to those whose material possessions are committed unto the Lord.
- Because it is one of the best ways of learning and applying the eternal truths God has given us and of reaching out into the community in His name.
- Because the Sunday School offers the only opportunity where the believers throughout the universal church open their Bibles to study together.
